Árboles de Centroamérica manual of OFI and CATIE

The Árboles de Centroamérica manual contains nine chapters describing, among other topics, agroforestry, management of natural forests, management of small-scale plantations, management of seeds and of intraspecific diversity, and commercial use and marketing of tree species. Although the manual is in Spanish and is focused on Central America, the graphics and presentation of information make the manual suitable for audiences outside Central America and an excellent example of an extension material for forest and tree users.

The manual is an output from a project funded through the Forestry Research Programme of the UK Department for International Development (DFID) for the benefit of developing countries. The views expressed are not necessarily those of DFID. Project R7588, Forestry Research Programme © OFI/CATIE 2003
