The software is available in two packages, one that includes the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and the other without (smaller size). If you do not have a Java virtual machine installed on your computer, be sure to get the package that includes one.

2.1. Installation

Below are the installation steps:

Step 1. Introduction Window.
This window displays general information about the software that will be installed. Press the Next button to continue.

Step 2. Choose Installation Directory window.
The default directory is C:/Program Files/SExI-FS. You can change the default directory by either press the Choose… button to select the installation directory, or type the directory name in the directory path field. Press the Next button to continue.

Step 3. Choose Shortcut Folder Window
This window provides the setting options for shortcut icon. You can choose the place of icon either in new program group, in an existing program group, in the start menu, on the desktop, in the quick launch bar, or leave it without creating the icon. You can set whether these icons will be created for all users or not. Press the Next button to continue.

Step 4. Pre-Installation Summary window.
Review the pre–installation summary. Click Previous button if you need to reset the installation setting. And after, press the Install button to start the installation process.

Step 5. Installation window.
If it’s done, you can start to use the software.

2.2. Running SExI-FS

To run the SExI-FS, you can press Start button, and then select Programs, and select SExI-FS, and then select SExI-FS shortcut icon (see Figure 6). This is assuming that you use MS Windows Operating System and you choose default installation setting. For the other platforms it might have different GUI.

If it works, the splash screen will show.
