Abstract:
Climate change is fast becoming a present reality. The most recent IPCC (2007) report concludes that: "…warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and [the] rising global average sea level… (Denman et al. 2007)."
