As one of the subsidiary Bodies under the ASEAN Senior Officials on Forestry (ASOF) that is mandated by the Host Country to extend Invitations to Partner Organizations, ASEAN Social Forestry Network (ASFN) has invited the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) to participate in the International Seminar under the auspices of the 15th ASOF Meeting to be held on Wednesday 27 June 2012, at the Melia Hotel, Ha Noi.

ICRAF has continuously participated in ASFN Knowledge Fair and Conferences, and recently during the 3rd ASFN Conference, and the 6th ASFN Meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia, ICRAF participated and presented on potential areas of collaborative activities with ASFN.

ICRAF Viet Nam consider participating in the ASOF Seminar, as well as participating in the Exhibition by displaying publications in Melia Hotel Ha Noi. All the publications have strongly attracted the attention of policy makers, scientists, people working in the field of forestry. Among them, one of the newest publication - A primer: Agroforestry Tree Domestication was firstly introduced and distributed to the participants.
