Main activities
  • Supervise activities of GIS technicians within the ICRAF-ILRI RMG
  • Take a lead in GIS-related spatial analysis
  • Provide GIS and remote sensing information and facilities to global community of practice
  • Oversee procurement and distribution of GIS and remote sensing software to all nodes
  • Manage the contact point for Consortium for Spatial Information of CGIAR and other global network
  • Support and supervise GIS web site updates and maintenance
  • Lead in training and capacity building.
